PSAT/NMSQT & AP Exams

PSAT/NMSQT

The Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test administered by the College Board. The scores from the PSAT/NMSQT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The assessment can help you see how well you're doing on specific skills and personalize your SAT practice. Students generally complete this assessment in 10th or 11th grade, but younger students may be eligible. Test is administered by CWCS in the fall, as per the designated College Board assessment dates.

AP Tests

Advanced Placement (AP) Tests take place at the end of AP classes. They are used as a means of assessing how much you learned in the class and whether your experience merits college credit. You can earn college credits for high AP Test scores, and your scores may also help you to place out of introductory classes. Doing well on AP tests can mean finishing college early or avoiding college classes in subjects that are repetitive for you. AP tests are administered by CWCS in the spring each year per the designated College Board assessment dates per request.
