
CV 8th Grade Bridge Program 2025-2026
The Bridge Program is a dynamite lineup of grouped classes taught by extraordinary teachers online via Canvas on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Learning Center each week! The Bridge Program is designed to ensure your student will be ready for the rigor of high school. Please see the schedule below as it has changed due to Tiger Time in the mornings.
Cost: $800.00 per semester will be deducted from the student account to pay for the cost of materials, supplies and instruction for the Bridge Program.

First day of class: The first day of class will be Monday, August 18th, 2025 (on Canvas)
Parent/Student Orientation(Mandatory): Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 @ 10:30am (at CV Resource Center)
Fall Semester Dates: 8/18-12/17, No classes on: 9/1, 11/24 and 11/26
Spring Semester Dates: 1/7 to 5/6, No classes on: 1/19, 2/16, 3/23, 3/25, 4/20, and 4/22

State Testing: There will be no classes April 13th-17th. Students will take their CAASPP test during this week. Check with your ES to sign up for a CAASPP session.
Curriculum:
The curriculum that will be used and provided for each student is reserved at each Resource center. Please inform the staff that you are attending the Bridge program and they will give you the materials. If students do not already have a Chromebook to use as an aid for their classes, one will be provided, which needs to be returned when the student drops/exits the class at the end of the year.
